The Children's Garden Hosts will support visitors wishing to use the newly opened Children's Garden.

The hosts will manage the capacity of the Gardens, maintain our safeguarding policies as they apply to the Garden and ensure the safety and security of the Visitors.

This will be a very busy role and the successful candidate will need to comfortably deal with groups, family visitors and capacity management. You'll also need to actively engage with a diverse audience, so great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are essential in this role. 

This post will work on a roster of three working days followed by two days off. Shift lengths vary and cover the opening of the Garden from 10am to 8pm in early summer. Hosts work throughout the week including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Successful candidates will have experience working with public in a very busy leisure or retail environment preferably with an understanding of safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.

Please note that successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
