You will also be assisting the Conservation and Collections Care team with storage of the objects once they are at Blythe House, this involves handling them, placing them on shelves and updating their locations on the object database.

The post will be mainly based at the Science Museum in South Kensington until December 2012. In January the post will move to Blythe House, the small to medium objects store of the Science Museum near Kensington Olympia. The post will occasionally need to work at the storage buildings at Science Museum Wroughton near Swindon.
