Post: Sales Manager, Touring Exhibitions
Salary: Up to £35,906 per annum plus benefits
Contract: Permanent Appointment

The Natural History Museum is one of the world’s leading museums, internationally recognised for its dual role as a centre of excellence in scientific research and as a leader in the presentation of natural history through exhibitions, public programmes, publications and the web.

The candidate will be responsible for the selling of the Museum’s portfolio of International Touring Exhibitions to ensure a full booking schedule is achieved. They will be responsible for high level sales with VIP clients, primarily in Asia and the Pacific and/or the Middle East and will report to the Head of Touring Exhibitions.

The Touring Exhibitions Sales Manager will be able to think of creative pitches and solutions, selling to customers with a wide range of exhibition configuration and audiences. They will liaise with other internal department to jointly create with other team members marketing and communications materials including print, video and web.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate would ideally be a degree educated with a second language while having proven sales/negotiation background. They would also have experience in customer research, gather/analyse statistics and business planning while also being results driven.
