Learning Development Officer F 1FTE

Plymouth City Council is embarking on a £32 million capital redevelopment project that will transform its museum and art gallery into a major cultural destination for Plymouth and the Southwest peninsula.  And we are looking for the right candidates to join us on this journey.

In particular we are looking for a learning development officer who will work with our appointed consultants and the wider learning team to develop and deliver a new schools offer in line with the project’s activity plan. The learning development officer will pilot and test new learning programmes during the delivery phase of the capital development project, and develop and deliver new learning activities for schools both on and off site on completion of the project. You will have at least three years’ experience of working in a formal learning environment and have delivered high quality learning programmes in a heritage setting for a diverse range of learners.
