Volunteer & Early Career Development Officer grade E 1FTE

Plymouth City Council is embarking on a £32 million capital redevelopment project that will transform its museum and art gallery into a major cultural destination for Plymouth and the Southwest peninsula.  And we are looking for the right candidates to join us on this journey.

In particular we are looking for a volunteer & early career development officer who will develop an innovative programme to increase and diversify our volunteer programme, and create a range of work placement opportunities for young people looking to get into the creative sector. You will have demonstrable experience of managing volunteers and in particular attracting and working with a diverse range of volunteers from different parts of the local community. You will also have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policy and experience of the’ coaching’ methodology.
