Job Description:
As a Visitor Admissions Coordinator, you will organise weekly schedules for 24 volunteer stewards and ensure the Admissions office is manned at all times during the Museum’s opening hours. You will greet individual visitors and groups and supervise till transactions. You will be responsible for the safe opening and secure closing of the Museum, reporting any issues to our maintenance/security team. You will be in charge of the general organisation of the Admissions office and ensure Admissions policies and procedures are kept up-to-date and implemented.

Your working week will be a flexible 4 days over 7 days on a rolling basis with regular weekend work involved.
Required Skills:
You will need to have excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, be adaptable and resilient and be a good communicator with great organisational skills, able to coordinate a team of volunteers.
You will have prior cash handling skills and have security and safety awareness. First aid training would be useful but not essential as training can be provided. You must be comfortable working with MS Office applications.
This role will ideally suit someone who likes to spend time outdoors.
