Job Description:
BCLM: Forging Ahead is Black Country Living Museum’s £22m project to develop a world class heritage attraction at the heart of the Black Country. Growing the existing site by a third and creating a new development set in the 1940s-60s, the project will also include a new Visitor Welcome, including a new entrance and contemporary Visitor Centre to greet up to 5,000 visitors a day.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with a background in project management to co-ordinate this exciting development. Ideally from a museum, heritage, leisure or visitor attraction environment, you will have proven experience of large scale construction projects in the sector and of similar grant submissions.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will ideally have comprehensive experience in the heritage sector, having previously successfully project managed large scale construction projects.
Experience of submitting and and securing HLF stage two applications (or similar) at a national level is essential, as is having managed specialist contractors as well as staff and volunteers to ensure the project runs to time and on budget.
With highly developed interpersonal skills, you will be able to demonstrate evidence of effective decision making and problem solving.
