Job Description:
This person is responsible for managing the museums day to day operations - including, but not limited to all business operations, finance, facility operation and maintenance - as well as all museum events to achieve the Museum’s mission, annual goals and objectives. These responsibilities include the management and production of the Washington State International Kite Festival coordinating its partnerships with the City of Long Beach and the WSIKF leadership, committees and volunteers.
Required Skills:
The candidate must be energetic and possess a community consciousness, leadership qualities, and event planning and production experience, as well as demonstrated effective organization skills, and the ability to motivate staff, volunteers and community partners.

The candidate should have successful experience with grant writing, budget development and management. Experience with creating volunteer support will be considered heavily as well as experience working with QuickBooks accounting software.
