Working with the Head of Education, the Interpretation Developer will develop and implement the interpretation strategy. This role will research, create and deliver interpretation and content for use across Longleat, Cheddar Gorge & Caves and our new developments where required. Subject areas include zoology, natural history related to ecology and native wildlife, geology, prehistory, in particular the Stone Age, art, architecture and history relevant to Longleat House and Estate. This role will be responsible for ensuring all way finding and signage in our public realm enables an optimum guest experience and reinforces our brand proposition as well as ensuring that their briefs are accurate, of a high standard and reflect our brand.

The ideal candidate will have great organisational and time management skills with a relevant degree level qualification. Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail and experience in delivering interpretation projects are essential. If you have copy writing and project management experience including evidence of producing materials for a range of different audiences, then this role could be for you.

This is a full-time position in which working hours are typically 36.25 per week, Monday-Friday between 9.00am and 5.15pm. However, due to the nature of our business, working hours will be flexible including weekend and bank holiday working as required.
