Organisation:     Historic Royal Palaces
Salary:     £32,506 p.a.
Type:     Full-Time Position
 Contract: Established
Location:     Hampton Court Palace, England
Closing Date:     Sunday, May 20th, 2018
Job Ref No:

Job Description:
At Historic Royal Palaces (HRP), we help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society in some of the greatest palaces ever built. We bring six extraordinary palaces to life, including the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, the Banqueting House at Whitehall, and Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland.

In Public Engagement we seek to reach new audiences (through fresh programming, events and live interpretation), to deepen our relationships with current and repeat visitors, and to broaden the diversity of our audiences overall. Innovation and creativity, strategic partnerships and an audience-focus are central to our approach.

As a Business Executive, you will be responsible for effective financial planning, management and reporting for the Interpretation & Design, Creative Direction, Arts and Cultural Programming, and Daily Programming teams. You will support the Business Planning & Development Manager and the rest of the team on all matters relating to the financial support of the department including setting up contracts and Contracts for Services for external workers and suppliers.
Required Skills:
To be effective in this role you will have a sound understanding of project management processes and documentation, budget management, financial project support, KPI reporting, procurement and issuing of contracts. You’ll take a keen interest to ensure that all HRP financial policies and procedures are followed as part of the project management processes. You’ll need to be well-organised to co-ordinate and manage the annual financial planning and all reporting for the department.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, and preferably with a business/finance qualification, you will have a demonstrable track-record providing operational and financial support to a busy team, preferably in learning, arts, culture, broadcast, production or heritage environment.
