Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen at BM Images, the British Museum Company’s image licensing business, for an Account Manager with industry experience to manage all aspects of image licensing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new revenue opportunities and increasing profit from existing accounts and new accounts.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Accurately processing complex requests involving long image lists, rights packages and policy and legislation issues
• Negotiating prices and fee agreements
• Increasing sales through prompt responses to client enquiries and requests
• Performing all order invoicing in a timely manner and supporting the finance department with all payment related activities, as required
• Developing industry expertise and knowledge of the British Museum collections to anticipate clients’ needs
• Carrying out image research using the Museum’s asset management database and object registration database
• Promoting new and incoming content to the existing client base
• Forecasting sales and keeping updated records of sales pipeline
• Providing on-going feedback on industry standard pricing and product offers
Required Skills:
With demonstrable industry related experience, we are looking for a highly organised individual who will be able to grow accounts and develop new business. With knowledge of copyright and intellectual property legislation, you will understand the importance of building key stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate will maintain attention to detail and will be able to prioritise workloads effectively in order to meet the department’s needs. With excellent communication skills, you will understand the importance of representing the Company and Museum in an appropriate manner to external parties.
