Job Description:
The University of Reading is seeking an outstanding candidate for its next appointment as Director, University Library & Collection Services and University Librarian. This role represents an opportunity to deliver change in the context of one of the world’s leading institutions.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a substantial track record of senior leadership in one or more library and information services, archive or museum roles, including significant evidence of strategic service and financial planning in support of education and research. The successful post-holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to drive positive change and to provide leadership for the University in relation to the changing role of the academic library and its collections, spaces and services.

The post-holder will demonstrate personal commitment to continuous improvement of student experience and to enhancing the University’s support for education and research excellence.
