Job Description:
It's telling the stories that inspire the sales.

It’s the collaboration and the community spirit. And it’s helping millions enjoy magnificent buildings and beautiful art. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

When the doors of Buckingham Palace's glorious State Rooms are opened to the public each August and September, hundreds of thousands of people come to visit. Joining our outstanding and very friendly Retail team, you'll make their experience special.

Unveiling the fascinating stories behind the products we offer, you'll provide far more than just sales. You'll enrich your customers' experience by answering their questions, engaging with and informing them, and opening their eyes to the other products we offer.

The range of customers you'll serve will be extraordinary, as will the quality of the items you'll sell.

And in all that you do, you’ll aim to deliver a service that is as memorable as your surroundings.
Required Skills:
Able to deliver both ambitious sales targets and extraordinary customer service, you're exactly who we're looking for.

You have a warm and friendly personality, along with an accurate and detail focused approach to your work.

You're also an excellent team player, with the ability to work flexibly and effectively even when things get busy.

Numeracy and a good level of computer literacy are important too. What's more, you're able to think on your feet, a key skill, considering you'll never know who you might serve next.

This is your opportunity to use your personality and customer service skills to deliver the exceptional.

Contracts will commence in either early June, or early July, and will finish in early October.

A limited number of contracts will be available from May to the end of October.

BEFORE YOU APPLY: Please note that we have a number of summer vacancies at the Royal Household. Please consider which role will best suit your aims, skills and experience, as you can only submit one application.

Interviews are typically held throughout February 2019. Due to nature of the interview process, please be advised that you must be able to attend in person as we are unable to offer Skype or other form of interview for these roles.
