Job Description:
To support delivery of the ambitious ‘Goldsmiths’ Digital’ project, we are looking for a CMS Project Manager to take on an important project role, initially for a term of two years, starting in May 2019, with scope for review in 2021. The role holder will play an integral part in the scoping, procurement and implementation of an effective, integrated Collections Management System and Digital Asset Management System which will facilitate cataloguing and information sharing; collections care, audit, reporting and loan administration; and the management of digital assets and associated rights.

Required Skills:

• A proven ability to apply a robust project management approach, including the ability to scope and manage delivery of similarly complex projects to agreed timescales and within budget.
• Demonstrable experience of collections management, including experience of documenting a collection using a variety of CMS systems and terminology.
• Previous experience in procuring and implementing a CMS and DAMS.
• Good knowledge of cataloguing standards (e.g. Spectrum, ISAD[G], MARC21, RDA)
• Experience in creating sharable metadata
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a variety of teams and stakeholders both internally and externally
• Experience of digital assets and rights management
