Job Description:
It's developing your skills on a worldwide platform

It’s becoming part of something special, and it's the satisfaction of promoting one of the world's greatest and most diverse art collections. This is what makes working for Royal Collection Trust so different.

Royal Collection Trust's dedicated Press Office manages media relations and a range of communication activities to develop and enhance the visibility of the Trust.

Joining the team as Press Office Assistant, you'll be at the heart of this fast-paced and dynamic operation. You'll help to ensure the delivery of engaging and inspiring communications and media coverage to a wide-range of audiences.

From arranging press visits and events to co-ordinating filming applications and collating media materials, you'll make sure everything is in place for the daily demands.

You'll also provide vital administrative support. Managing replies to correspondence and acting as the key point of contact for media related enquiries, you'll play an essential role in the smooth running of the office.

Keeping up with a busy schedule will be critical and you’ll collaborate closely with the press team and wider colleagues to help deliver media projects. You'll keep up to date with daily news feeds and act as a reliable source of information as you assist with both proactive and reactive media relations.

With no two days being the same, you'll continuously develop your skills as you take on each new challenge. What's more, with a unique insight into public and media relations, across print, broadcast and online, you'll gain the experience to make an exceptional start to an exciting career.
Required Skills:
Educated to degree level and with an interest in media relations, you're exactly who we need.

A natural organiser, you have versatile I.T. skills and lots of initiative.

A professional and confident communicator, you'll enjoy building relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and external people alike.

A real team player, you're able to work flexibly and effectively to support your colleagues.

And above all, you're able to work independently when needed and can handle multiple priorities with attention to detail that is second-to-none.

This is a busy and constantly evolving function, and so you'll be keen to develop your skills alongside the workload.

This is your opportunity to use your administration skills and proactive approach to deliver the exceptional.
