Job Description:
It’s an exciting time for English Heritage as we embark on a major project to conserve and re-present Marble Hill House, Twickenham. As a Documentation Officer, you will play an important part in documenting the fine and decorative art collections at Marble Hill House in preparation for packing, transport and temporary storage. You will support the Collections Curator, Conservator and art handlers with the collections decant enabling the project to be completed according to schedule.

This is a fixed term contract for 9 weeks from 7th October to 6th December 2019. Interviews will take place on 12th September 2019.
Required Skills:
We want someone who has experience of carrying out museum documentation, working with databases and handling historic objects. You will be self-motivated and practical, with a ‘hands on’ approach to working and excellent attention to detail. You will understand the issues relating to the management of collections in the heritage environment.
