Job Description:
Castle Howard Estate Ltd is a family owned and run business based in North Yorkshire. One of the UK’s most iconic Stately Homes it is a major tourist destination, attracting over 250,000 visitors a year to the house and grounds.

We are recruiting a Head Guide who will be responsible for the day to day running of the Guides team. You will take a lead role in the delivery of our customer service to our many visitors in the House ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a unique view of Castle Howard as a home, its history and its future.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills and have the ability to work well within a team as well as under their own initiative. They must also be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service and be of a smart appearance at all times. Experience of working in a historic house or the heritage industry would be desirable.
