Job Description:
Re-opened in 2017 after a £23.75 million transformation, the Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our five thematic galleries and our innovative exhibition and events programme, the public can explore what it's like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

P/T Retail and Admissions Supervisor - £23,932pa (pro-rata)
15 hours per week, 2 days out of 7 including regular weekends, Based in London
Fixed Term Contract up to the 31st December 2020.

We are seeking to appoint a part time Supervisor to join a passionate and dedicated team and assist the Retail and Admissions Manager in efficiently managing the day-to-day operation of the welcome desk, shop, soft play space and associated birthday party offer. This is a customer facing role which involves leading by example to coach and develop the team to ensure they are motivated and possess the right skills to deliver world class visitor experience whilst also achieving sales targets and key performance indicators.

The successful candidates will have significant supervisory experience in a retail, museum or similar setting. You must be a team player, with exceptional operational and people management skills, have a positive outlook and be willing to learn. This is an opportunity for an experienced supervisor who is keen to gain exposure to a variety of skills across front of house and commercial activity, in a museum environment.
