Job Description:
Do you have a flair for teaching? Do you enjoy working with children and young people?

At Bletchley Park we need Learning Session Leaders to join our growing team and assist in the delivery of our exciting STEAM based learning programme for visiting school, college, university and family groups.

You will provide exemplary educational experiences to formal and informal groups, through the delivery of high quality, interactive learning sessions on a wide range of cross-curricular themes. You’ll be focusing on our KS3-5 groups (11-18 year olds) and adult learners (Universities and other groups) but may also be required to lead KS1&2 groups from time to time.

This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. This will be carried out on your behalf by the Bletchley Park Trust and a fully clear disclosure is the minimum requirement for employment.
Session leader shift timings are usually 09:45-14:30 – this may vary. Ideal availability is a minimum of 1 day per week.

Rate of pay between £13.00-£14.50 per hour commensurate with experience.
Zero hour contract
Some weekend working will be required.
Required Skills:
You’ll be enthusiastic about facilitating learning and sharing Bletchley Park’s stories via engaging and interactive workshop sessions. You’ll have the ability to think on your feet, a ‘can do’ attitude and exemplary communication skills for a wide range of audiences.

You’ll also need a background in delivering successful learning activities in a museum, heritage or learning environment and enjoy exceeding expectations at every opportunity.
