Job Description: |
| We are seeking a full time, temporary Collections Management Assistant. This is a hands-on role, through which you will be involved in assisting with a range of collections care processes, including removal, couriering and documentation of objects.
|

| Required Skills: |
| It is essential that you are qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a museum related subject, or have equivalent museum work experience, and have knowledge of best practice in collections care. You must have practical experience of working in a museum environment, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, and must have the manual dexterity to appropriately handle our objects. It is important that you have Microsoft Office skills and experience of data entry, using a museum/archive collection database, as well as experience of collections care, such as storage and movement of objects. You must be able to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, and possess good communication skills. A driving licence is essential and you must be willing to travel as duties require. |
