Explainer Team Leader
Positions available at the National Railway Museum, York
Salary: £21,515 pa pro rata
As an Explainer Team Leader for the Science Museum Group, you will lead and inspire a team of Explainers to provide accessible, interesting and informal learning for groups visiting our Museums. A strong track record of recruiting, training and developing a team to deliver educational and enjoyable learning events is essential.
This is an opportunity to help create world-class visitor experiences in our Museums. Motivated to provide the highest quality tours, learning events and public programmes, you will be able to coach and develop your team, maintaining performance and ensuring the highest levels of customer care. Outstanding communication, interpersonal and people management skills are vital, with the ability to engage audiences and bring our exhibitions and collections to life. Experience of communicating learning themes to diverse groups, including adults, children and visitors with special needs, is important.
