About Us
The Household Cavalry Museum, situated at Horse Guards Parade in the heart of London, is a unique "living museum" dedicated to the proud history and contemporary role of the Household Cavalry - the British Army’s most senior regiment and the King’s Mounted Bodyguard.

Visitors to the museum are immersed in both ceremonial pageantry and operational realities with displays ranging from historic uniforms, saddlery and tack to live stables where mounted soldiers care for horses still used in state ceremonial duties.

With large international and domestic visitor numbers, the museum has a clear ambition to become one of the Top 10 attractions to visit in London.

About the Role
The Household Cavalry Museum is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised Events and Marketing Officer to support the planning, delivery and promotion of a programme of events, tours and venue hire activity.
Reporting to the Museum Director, the postholder will play an important delivery and coordination role, supporting museum events, private tours and venue hire enquiries. This role will also assist with marketing and communications activity to help raise the profile of the museum.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in events and visitor attractions who is looking to develop their skills in a unique heritage setting. Approximately 30% of the role will focus on supporting the Museum Director with marketing activity, including social media and email marketing.
