| Job Description |
| |
Skillington Workshop Ltd is one of the country’s foremost sculpture, plaster and stone conservation firms. Established in 1997 we are based in Grantham, where we have our offices and studios, and work on projects throughout the UK as well as overseas. Clients include English Heritage, The National Trust, numerous churches and cathedrals, local authorities and private clients. Whether it be prehistoric or late 20th century everything we work on has cultural significance and is treated with care and respect in accordance with recognised conservation principles.
We are seeking to expand our team of architectural materials and sculpture conservators and will consider applicants with a variety of experience levels from trainee to accredited conservator level.
Hours are expected to be 40 hours per week but with some flexibility, and we would consider a part-time or reduced hours application. Overtime rates apply as do travel-time pay when on site, and working away allowances.
We actively support on-going training and CPD.
We are an equal opportunities employer and encourage diversity and inclusion.
Salary negotiable depending on experience and benefits package. |
