Job Description:
A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Visitor Experience Manager to take a lead role within our team of Visitor Experience Supervisors at Chatsworth.

This is an exciting and diverse role where you will lead the Visitor Experience supervisory team in delivering an outstanding experience for all visitors. Members of this team are often the first people visitors meet when coming to Chatsworth and they are renowned for their excellent customer service and warm welcome. Your role is to build upon these existing strengths and to support the team in exceeding the already high levels of delivery.

You will work with the Visitor Experience Manager and Interpretation and Engagement Manager to understand the visitor experience in detail, and to ensure greater engagement between Chatsworth and its visitors through the practical implementation of the Interpretation strategy.

You will be fully operational for a large proportion of your time and responsible for the day to day running of the admission points and ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately to manage visitor experience. Part of your role will include the reconciliation of cash, including ordering and receiving change deliveries and making up floats, and for banking cash. You will also be part of the first aid cover for Chatsworth staff and visitors and will ensure adequate cover including managing external first aid contractors.

The ability to work positively under pressure is essential, as is the ability to organise your time and to work productively as part of the team. You will have proven management experience leading and motivating a front of house team in a large visitor attraction or similar environment and maintaining positive, effective and enthusiastic working relationships.
