The National Army Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our five permanent galleries, our temporary exhibition spaces and our innovative events programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a passionate and committed team to develop and deliver the Museum’s visitor experience operations.

PART-TIME Visitor Experience Supervisor £25,388pa (pro-rata)
Wednesday – Friday, working 09.15 – 17.45 (25.5 hours per week incl a 1 hour unpaid lunch break) *with some occasional weekend working (*time off in lieu will be given)
Permanent and based in London

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Visitor Experience Supervisor to join a passionate, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and dedicated team who support the Museum’s Management Team in providing a world class visitor experience for the Museum’s visitors. This role will continue to build upon and deliver the Museum’s visitor experience across the Museum gallery teams and ensure that the Museum’s mission and values are delivered holistically across all visitor touch points.

Proven team leader experience in a customer/visitor services operation, with the ability to successfully supervise and support a diverse team of staff and volunteers is essential.
