The National Army Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our five permanent galleries, our temporary exhibition spaces and our innovative events programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

Collections Data Manager - £33,000pa (plus benefits)
(Full-Time, Permanent Appointment - Stevenage based)

We are seeking to appoint a Collections Data Manager who will be responsible for recommending and working on Collections Management and Digital Asset Management systems at the Museum to support meeting recognised standards, improve collections management processes and increase access to the collection.

Outcomes of this work will be to ensure compliance with collections managements standards (SPECTRUM and ISAD-G) and maximise access to collections, information and specialist knowledge and better enable research outcomes to help deliver the Museum’s strategy. It will also ensure the delivery of the Museum strategy, help deliver the communication of collections information and other assets to the museum’s audiences, in order to maximise access and commercial opportunities.
