  Job Description
- Working directly with the archive owner to identify, assess, record and arrange storage of new material to be incorporated into the collection.

- Working with the Archivist to update data in existing catalogue and ensure consistency across database records.

- Assist with project to create purpose-built archival storage onsite (currently in early development stage).

- Assist Archivist in day-to-day archive activities

- Assist the archive owner with relevant projects.

- Work with an extensive, multimedia archive.
  Required Skills / Qualifications
- Archival / Museum work - minimum 2 years experience.

- Experience dealing with a wide variety of archival media (paper, garments, objects, audio/video/photo/digital.

- Knowledge of handling, storage and cataloging requirements.

- Familiarity with Apple Mac working environment and experience with scanning, databases.

- Attention to detail vital in all aspects of work, particular in data entry.

- Experience with DAM systems (Digital Asset Management systems) and archival standards (ISDA (G), etc) preferred.

- Experience using software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Filemaker Pro, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools & Logic Pro would be beneficial.

- Knowledge of, and enthusiasm for music of all eras and genres.
