What We Are Looking For
The Royal Air Force Museum is recruiting for the role of Assistant Curator- Visual Media and Archives based at our London site and working across our Visual Media and Archive collections. This will be a permanent appointment.

This is a key role within the Collections and Research team. You will report to the Curator of Photographs and work closely with the wider Curatorial and Exhibition teams on projects across all our sites.

Amongst other responsibilities you will document, catalogue and research the Collections; answer requests for information received from Museum colleagues and external enquirers; support the development of content for use in our exhibitions and create content for our audiences.

The post is based at our London site.

You will be expected to travel between sites and to other locations, as and when the role requires it.
  Required Skills / Qualifications
• High level of knowledge related to Museum’s Collection practice and administration gained through employment or a relevant qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel software skills.
• Demonstrable experience of working within a team
