  Job Description
We are looking for a commercially minded and relationship-focused Travel Trade Manager to help grow our reach across the travel trade, group visitor and tourism markets. This contract is on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in increasing awareness, attendance and revenue by building strong partnerships, developing compelling travel trade offers and ensuring Shakespeare’s Globe is positioned prominently with tour operators, tourism organisations, group organisers and third-party partners.

Reporting to the Head of Ticketing and Sales, you’ll be the main point of contact for our travel trade partners and will work closely with teams across the organisation to package, promote and sell the full range of experiences Shakespeare’s Globe has to offer.

For full details on the role, including duties, responsibilities and the person criteria, please see the full JD linked on this page.

We are committed to improving diversity and inclusion across our organisation. Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and the Global Majority are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single specification. If you’re excited about the role but your experience or qualifications don’t perfectly align, we encourage you to apply anyway. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups such as the global majority, LGBTQA+, those from a working-class background, those with a disability and neurodiverse conditions.

The team:
The Ticketing and Sales Team work across all areas of The Globe to promote and sell tickets for theatre performances, education events, workshops and the guided tour. In addition to this, the team collaborate specifically with membership and access departments to ensure that patrons are well supported in these areas and that growth in our customer base is achieved. Our work is far-reaching, fast paced and full of variety, but is consistent with regards to our strong customer-centric focus. We offer a world-class service to our visitors and strive to ensure that every customer journey is smooth and every visitor experience is positive and memorable.
