  Job Description
Training Manager – Visitor Experience
Abu Dhabi | On-site | A World-Class Cultural Landmark
Salary: AED 23,000 per month + benefits

Some careers are measured in years. Others are measured in moments that make history. This is one of those moments.

In Abu Dhabi, one of the most significant cultural openings of the decade is taking shape: a landmark of genuine international stature, destined to become a must-visit for art lovers, travellers and thinkers from every corner of the globe. Its galleries will tell remarkable stories. But the moments visitors remember most will be shaped by the people who welcome them, and you will be the one who prepares those people.

We are seeking an exceptional Training Manager to build, inspire and elevate the Visitor Experience team from the very first day. You will craft the onboarding of a large Front of House workforce, turning every new joiner into a confident, curious and deeply knowledgeable ambassador for art and culture, worthy of a world-class institution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build it from the ground up
• Create and lead the training strategy for the entire Visitor Experience team
• Design an onboarding journey that makes every new joiner feel welcomed, motivated and ready
• Coordinate the induction and training of a large Front of House team ahead of, and beyond, opening

Make learning unforgettable
• Turn rich, complex content into training that is clear, engaging and memorable
• Develop programmes in customer service, presentation and facilitation, visitor engagement, accessibility, content knowledge and operational procedures
• Bring artists, curators and cultural experts into the training room through talks, sessions and knowledge-sharing

Run a high-performing learning operation
• Plan annual, monthly and weekly training schedules aligned with operational priorities
• Manage each employee's weekly training time so it is well planned and well used
• Own the learning platform so materials are organised, up to date and available on demand for self-paced learning
• Create manuals, facilitator guides, presentations, assessments and digital resources

Lead and measure impact
• Line-manage and develop two Training Officers
• Track participation, progress, competency and training effectiveness, and keep accurate records and reports
• Spot skills gaps early and launch targeted development and refresher programmes
• Partner closely with Visitor Experience, Operations, Curatorial and Learning teams
• Embed a culture of curiosity, continuous learning and genuine guest engagement

WHAT YOU BRING
• 5+ years of training Visitor Experience teams, guides or facilitators
• Museum, contemporary art or cultural institution experience (strongly preferred)
• A track record of delivering large-scale onboarding and training programmes
• Excellent planning skills and comfort juggling multiple programmes and stakeholders
• Experience managing or supervising training professionals
• A gift for making complex content simple, vivid and memorable
• Strong facilitation, presentation and coaching skills
• Experience with learning platforms and both digital and classroom training
• Confidence working alongside artists, curators and operational teams
• A real passion for art, culture, storytelling and audiences
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage

WHY THIS ROLE
• Write your name into the story of a once-in-a-generation cultural opening
• Shape the people who will define how the world experiences this landmark
• Learn and collaborate alongside internationally renowned artists, curators and cultural leaders
• Deliver world-class experiences to audiences arriving from every continent
• Leave a lasting legacy: the culture you build here will be felt for decades

Opportunities like this come along rarely. If you're ready to help bring a cultural icon to life, we'd love to hear from you.
