The Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our five thematic galleries and our innovative exhibition and events programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

Events Assistant - Venue Hire - £30,950pa (plus benefits)
(Full-Time, Permanent Appointment - London based)


We are seeking to appoint a Venue Hire Events Assistant to join our passionate and dedicated Venue Hire team. This is an exciting role in which you will be the initial point of contact for all event hire enquiries. The successful candidate will support in managing and co-ordinating enquiries utilising exceptional communication and selling skills to engage clients, develop client relationships, grow the Museum’s venue hire profile and reputation and drive sales and conversion.

The successful candidate will have at least twelve months experience in an events, hospitality or high-end customer facing operation, be highly organised, able to multi-task, be a team player, enjoy interacting with clients, have a positive outlook and will be hands-on in the planning, co-ordination and set up of events. Enthusiastic, personable and motivated, the successful candidate will be able to confidently take on responsibility and relish the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the growth of our venue hire offer and further develop their skills and knowledge.
