What We Are Looking For
We are currently looking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Social media & Content Executive to support the delivery of the Museum’s Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy. The successful candidate will support the creation of engaging digital content, management of social media platforms, audience engagement, campaign delivery, and analytics reporting to help grow the Museum’s online presence and visitor engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 month’s experience creating content for social media platforms, strong communication skills, and an understanding of digital marketing, photography/videography, and audience engagement. They will be organised, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

As a Social media & Content Executive, responsibilities will include:

• Creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms
• Supporting digital marketing campaigns and events
• Community management and audience engagement
• Photography and videography support
• Analytics reporting and performance monitoring
• Supporting wider marketing and commercial activities

The post will be based at our Midlands site.

Occasional evening and weekend working may be required to support events, campaigns, and content capture activities.
  Required Skills / Qualifications
• Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms and creating, editing, and scheduling engaging digital content across multiple channels.
• Experience in managing online communities and responding to comments, messages, and audience interactions in a professional and engaging manner.
• Able to create creative and audience-focused content; including photography, video, reels, and social media copy.
• Demonstrable understanding of current social media trends, platform best practice, and audience engagement techniques.
• Able to demonstrate experience using analytics and reporting tools to monitor social media performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrable experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software, Google Analytics, or similar digital marketing and design tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
